tattoo for ilea

this was the first tattoo i ever designed!

my current roomie approached me a couple years back and asked me to draft a few preliminary ideas for her, and this was the finished product. here's the story:

ilea wanted a memorandum for her good highschool friend that died in a tragic car accident. her friend had always wanted a tattoo, but had died before being able to get one. ilea wanted me to incorporate butterflies (rebirth) and the girl's initials (KJK), so that's what i did. she stills loves it.

ilea now takes credit for my tattoo designing obsession...and probably rightfully so.
